HAMPSTEAD, NH - Paul G. Dion, 75, passed away Wednesday, January 31st at Exeter Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Haverhill on June 9, 1942, son of the late Paul J. and Shirley G. (Sawyer) Dion.
Paul was a graduate Haverhill Trade School, and was employed at the former Western Electric for many years. From 1962-1966, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. He also worked at the Haverhill Water Dept. and the Roma restaurant in Bradford.
Paul is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol A. (Francis) Dion; four children, Linda Ringuette and husband John Zuber, Jr. of Plaistow, Kathleen Goguen and husband, Robert Bavota of Danville, NH, Tammy Roberts and husband, Christopher Roberts of Haverhill and Paul G. Dion, Jr. of Bradford; his brother David J. Dion and his partner, John McKone of Hampton, NH; grandchildren, Mark, Stephen, Matthew, Meaghan, Nicholas, Christopher, Brandon, Olivia, Justin, Noah and Drew; as well as two great-grandchildren Cameron and Adam.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the calling hours on Friday, Feb. 2nd from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. Bradford. His funeral service will be on Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
