HAVERHILL- Paula J. (Armbruster) Pelosi, 85, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 13, at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Armand D. Pelosi.
Paula was born and educated in AuGres, MI., where she grew up on a farm. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Myer) Armbruster. After graduating from high school, Paula served in the U.S. Army for two years and was stationed in Germany. While in the Army, she met and married her husband, Armand. After returning to the United States, Paula and Armand settled in Haverhill.
Paula was a hardworking employee in the Purchasing Department of the former Western Electric Company for over 30 years. After retiring, she and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout the world.
Paula was a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother. She was very altruistic and generous. She was an avid reader and a wonderful cook. Her survivors include a son, Dennis D. Pelosi and his wife Jean; two grandsons, David C. and Michael A. Pelosi all of Haverhill; brothe-in-law and sister-in-law, Tony Montisanti and his wife, Virginia of Haverhill, brother-in-law Rocco Pelosi of Haverhill; sister-in-law, Evelyn Armbruster of MI and several nieces and nephews.
