Pauline T. (Goulet)'s Story
DERRY, NH- Pauline T. (Goulet) Morneau, of Derry, NH, passed away peacefully at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family.
Daughter of the late William and Alma (Lacourciere) Goulet,
Pauline was born in Lawrence, on July 22, 1930, grew up in Lawrence, and attended Lawrence schools. She worked at Gillette in Andover, for several years before opening her in-home daycare in Lawrence. She was amazing with the little ones. All the lucky children that came into her home, lovingly called her Memere. She had a way about her that made people really happy to spend time with her. She will be missed by many.
Pauline is survived by her beloved husband, of 67 years, Arthur L. Morneau, her daughter, Nancy Mayo and her husband Michael, of Sandown, N.H; her daughter, Christine Saab and her husband, Greg, of Haverhill; her son, Steve Morneau of Lawrence, and her son, Rick Morneau of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by her loving sister, Simone Goulet, of Methuen; her grandsons, John Michaud and wife Trie of Derry, N.H., Bill Michaud and his wife, Tiffany of Kingston, N.H., Tom Salovitch and his wife, Kelly, of Sandown, N.H., Jessica and Joshua Saab of Haverhill, and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan Michaud, and Sophie and Scarlett Salovitch. Pauline was predeceased by her daughter, Linda (Morneau)Girard, brother Roland Goulet and her sister, Claire (Goulet) Scalia; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 7th from 1 to 4 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, N.H. Cremation will follow.
