Rachel (Boragine)'s Story
METHUEN - Rachel (Boragine) Napolitano, 92, of Methuen, passed away at home Friday, December 22, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (DePadova) Boragine.
Mrs. Napolitano was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1944. She worked for many years as a stitcher at Grieco Brothers and retired in 1987. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, St. Rita's Sodality, Blessed Virgin Sodality and the Amalgamated Union.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Napolitano and her sisters, Susan Napolitano and Josephine Kennelly.
The family would like to thank her special friend, Peggy Budge for the love, time and care shown to Rachel over these past years.
Mrs. Napolitano is survived by her son, William Napolitano of Haverhill; daughter, Debra DiCenso of Methuen; grandchildren, Sarah Forbes and her husband, Derek of Tyngsboro, Derek DiCenso of Methuen and Lauren Carey and her husband, Robert of Maine and her great-grandchildren, Aaron, Victoria, Ryan and Patrick. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence.
