Raymond's Story

KITTERY POINT, ME - Raymond A. Boucher, 65, formerly of Haverhill and a resident of Kittery since 1989, died January 6, 2018 at York Hospital in Maine.
Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, MA on November 25, 1952, son of the late Peter and Irene (Raymond) Boucher, he attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and was member of the former Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1970.
A Master Electrician, licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, Ray has been employed for 37 years as the Facilities Manager of Munters Inc. of Amesbury.
He was a member of the former Saint Joseph Parish of Haverhill and a former member of the Newburyport Lions Club. In his younger years, he played drums in the Sons of Italy Band of Haverhill and was a baseball coach for the Kittery Little League and Babe Ruth League.
Ray was a devoted family man and avid Bruins fan and also enjoyed carpentry and masonry work around his home, and spending summers and boating at his lake house in Casco, Maine.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Melinda (Adelman) Boucher, three sons, Raymond A. Boucher, Jr. and his wife, Jessica of New Boston, NH, Matthew B. Boucher of Manchester, NH and Michael R. Boucher of Kittery Point, two daughters, Christine M. Heger and her husband Mark of Goffstown, NH and Daniele L. Boucher of Eliot, ME, brothers Paul R. Boucher and Gerard P. Boucher of Haverhill and Frederick Boucher of Salem, N.H.; a sister Janet I. DiBiaso of Haverhill, nine grandchildren, Zachary Boucher, Joshua Heger, Hunter Boucher, Dylan Boucher, Jeffrey Heger, Stephanie Heger, Kaylie Boucher, Alexis Boucher, and Austin Boucher, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ray's Life Celebration to be held on Monday, January 22, 2018, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 6:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in his name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn.
