Brighton, CO - Raymond J. Couture (Ray) passed away May 20, surrounded by his family. Born in Lawrence, Mass., to Ernest and Annie (Hill) Couture of Andover, Mass.
Ray was raised and educated in Andover. In 1977, Ray relocated his family to Westminster, Colorado. There he was employed at Americold Logistics for 40 years as a chief engineer in cold storage, until he retired. He enjoyed working on and restoring vintage cars, bike riding, and going on beach vacations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Ray loved visiting old friends and family in New England and whale watching off the coast of New Hampshire. Raymond is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn (Gianetti) Couture; five children, Raymond P. Couture and wife Darlene of Methuen, Mass.; Daniel J. Couture and his wife Lisa of Chelmsford, Mass.; Russ P. Couture and wife Laurie of Broomfield, Colo.; Michael W. Couture and his wife Lorie of Erie, Colo.; Lynne Anne Couture of Brighton, Colo.; sister, Annie (Couture) Reed of Kismet, Kansas; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Proceeded in death by his parents Ernest and Annie (Hill) Couture of Andover, Mass.; sisters, Irene Couture and June Beaudin of Andover, Mass.; brothers, Leon Couture of Amherst, Mass.; Normand Couture of Andover, Mass.; Romeo Couture, Richard Couture, Roland Couture and Alfred Couture, all of Lawrence, Mass.; Ernest Couture of Florence, Mass.
Please join us on Sunday, June 23, 2019, for a celebration of life that will be held at 11 a.m. at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, 75 S. 13th Ave., Brighton, CO 80601.

I had the honor of meeting ray and his wife in 2010, they both treated me like family, got to spend 2 days with them and it was the best 2 days of the whole trip, Ray and his wife have raised a wonderful family and we’re blessed with wonderful grandchildren, Ray i’am glad we met, until we meet again my friend Rest In Peace.
