Richard Alden's Story

Text size

Richard A. Roche, 40, passed away July 25, 2017 at Boston Medical Center in Boston.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Richard and Constance (Shields) Roche. Richard attended Plymouth High School. Richard was a jack of all trades, knowing how to fix and put together just about anything. He was a master mechanic and at the time of his passing was teaching his stepchildren about engines and how to repair things. He had the ability to bring joy to people. Richard enjoyed walks in the woods and bow hunting. He loved the beach and the peace it gave him. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his companion, Anne McCarron of Haverhill; her children, Timmy and Isabelle; his sister, Sarah Barton of Braintree; three aunts, Kimberly Shields of Dedham; Deborah Shields of Plymouth; Judith Shields of Plymouth; an uncle, James Roche of Boston; his niece Brady; and several cousins.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be private. Please visit Comeau Funeral Home on Facebook or www.comeaufuneral.com.
