Robert A.'s Story
Robert A. Pellegrino Sr., 84, of Ellenton, Fla., formerly of Windham, N.H., died Friday, July 7, 2017, in Tidewell Hospice, Palmetto, Fla.
He was born in E. Boston, Mass. on April 5, 1933, a son of Joseph and Frances (Tiano) Pellegrino. Robert was a U.S. Air Force veteran and had served during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry, N.H. and was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Moran and her husband, Thomas of Montgomery Village, Md. and Karen Pellegrino of Milford, N.H.; four grandchildren, Robert, Sarah, Kevin, and Patricia; two brothers, John Pellegrino of Lynnfield, Mass. and Joseph Pellegrino of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Venchenza Bavaria of Ellicott City, Md. and Mary Morrione of Englewood, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Janet Blair of Ellenton, Fla. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Marie (Carruthers) Pellegrino and his son, Robert Pellegrino.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Home, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry with a funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. The burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, E.
