Robert P. "Bob"'s Story
Robert P. "Bob" Morin, Sr., 97, a longtime resident of Plaistow, NH died Saturday, August 12, in Haverhill. He was the loving husband of the late Margaret (Braun) Morin, who died in 2016.
Born in Haverhill, Mass., on January 20, 1920, he was the only child of Samuel Morin and Marie (Thimot) Morin. He attended school in Haverhill.
In 1937 Bob opened Brandy Brow Auto Parts in Plaistow, N.H. He owned and operated Brandy Brow until his retirement in 1988. He was known for his honesty, integrity, and sharp memory.
His survivors include his four children and three stepchildren, Robert P. Morin Jr. of Nottingham, NH, Edward L. Morin of Valreco, Fla., Marie A. Merrifield and husband Kenneth of Wartrace, Tenn., Emma Boutot and husband Nelson of Lovell, Maine, Pamela Hersey of Haverhill, Cynthia Adams and husband, Gordon of Kingston, N.H. and Karen Bolger from New York, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Margorie (Searle) Morin in 1979.
