Roger's Story

DANVILLE, NH - Roger Kevin Lemieux, 64, died at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H., on Thursday, December 21, 2017.
Born and raised in Lawrence by the late Roger and Geraldine (Walsh), Kevin graduated from the Greater Lawrence Technical School in 1971. He went on to become a master electrician, always taking pride in his excellent work. He loved travelling with his wife and daughter, playing golf and hunting with his sons, playing cards with his friends, and laughing with everyone. Having recently retired, Kevin was looking forward to more of all these, making his sudden loss all the more tragic.
More than anything else, Kevin loved his family. He will forever be missed by his wife of 27 years, Anna (Sapia) Lemieux. Patrick Lemieux and wife, Lisa of Westfield, Mass.; Brian Lemieux and wife, Kristin of Groton, Mass.; and Michelle Lemieux of Danville, N.H., will all miss Dad. Antonio and Angela Sapia of Derry, N.H., lost their son-in-law, and Franco Sapia of Derry, N.H., and Tina Sapia of Clearwater, Fla., lost their brother-in-law. Gary Lemieux and wife, Nancy, of Danville, N.H., and Doreen Lemieux of Lawrence, Mass., lost their brother.
Kevin especially loved being Papa to his five grandchildren, Brenna, Reid, Ryan, Erin, and John. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Carrie, James, Alexandria, and Antonio.
He left an enduring mark on his family and friends, for whom the world will now be a bit duller without his wit, a bit quieter without his laugh, and forever missing a piece without him.
