Rose Mary (Sciuto)'s Story

Rose Mary (Sciuto) Mosca died peacefully September 9, 2017 after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Carmello and Mary (Zangri) Sciuto.
Born and raised in Lawrence, Rose was a lifelong resident of Lawrence and Methuen. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, the McIntosh School of Business, and attended Boston University. For many years, she was an Office Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Shawsheen, Andover. Rose was also a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Parish and devoted countless hours to Holy Rosary School, once even bringing the Barnum and Bailey Circus to Lawrence as a fundraiser. She volunteered in the Parish Center each year for the Feast of St. Alfio. She spent many years participating in the Festival of Trees and organized many New Year's Eve parties at the "High-Rise" at Heritage Heights in Methuen. Rose was known for her beautiful ballroom dancing ability, a great love she shared with her husband.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael E. Mosca, and her son, Michael E. Mosca II. She is survived by her son, Edward C. Mosca and his wife, Donna of Manchester, N.H.; her daughter, Lisa, and her husband, Louis Terranova of Wenham, and grandchildren, Kyle, Abigail, Michael, Mia, and David.
Funeral arrangements were private.
