Ryan L.'s Story
Ryan L. Cehrs, 37, passed away September 30, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Concord, Mass., he was the son of Pamela L. (MacLean) Fitzgerald and her husband Edward J. Fitzgerald, III and the late Michael L. Cehrs. He attended Stoneham elementary schools and Stoneham High School. Ryan moved to Newton, N.H. in 2003. Ryan was employed at Ground Care as a landscaper in North Andover. He loved to spend his summers at the family cottage in Bath, Maine. Ryan was a member of the “Cupcake Squad," a mountain hiking and camping group. He also enjoyed snowshoeing, skydiving and skateboarding. Ryan had an infectious smile; he was the life of the party and will be remembered for his laughter and quick wit. He loved his pets, his cat, Mr. Dingas and his dog Dillon. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his sister Caitlyn Cehrs of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his aunts and uncles, Donald and Sharon Tufts, Dale and Nancy MacLean, Brian and Alma MacLean, Chuck and Noreen Batdorf, Edgar Denney and Susan Fitzgerald, and Patricia Sweeney; his grandmother, Natalie MacLean of Phoenix, AZ; goddaughter Kayla Minkle; and many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society 101 1st Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451or www.nationalmssociety.org. This was close to Ryan’s heart, and with his friends, raised money every year.
