METHUEN, MA - Sally E. Deschamps, 78, died February 5, 2018, at the High Point Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass., surrounded by her loving family.
Sally was born in Rochester, N.H., on August 1, 1939, the daughter of Robert and Mildred Caverly of Strafford, N.H. She was educated in Rochester, N.H., schools, and graduated from McIntosh College in Dover, N.H. For many years, she was employed at Oomphies Shoes, and Colombo Yogurt.
Sally was married to Andrew Deschamps, her devoted husband of 58 years. The couple raised their family in Lawrence and Methuen, Mass., and lived in Florida for over 20 years.
Sally and Andy loved to travel together. They enjoyed visiting casinos and spending time at Walt Disney World. Sally, especially, had a true passion for lighthouses and the beach, especially her beloved York Beach in Maine.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Joseph and Robert of Methuen; daughter, Denise Diamond of North Reading; grandson, Daniel Roy; granddaughters, Ashlyn (Roy) Ford and Haley Diamond; great-grandson, Luke Roy; sister, Donna Flanders of Norton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Michele (Deschamps) Roy.
