Sheila A. (Moore) Nealey, 77 of Salem, NH, passed away on Friday, January 05, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. She was the beloved wife of John J. Nealey, to whom she was married for 55 years.
Sheila was born in Lawrence on October 4, 1940, the daughter of John and Anne (Hogan) Moore. She graduated from St. Mary High School in Lawrence and then graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover in 1961 with a B.S. in chemistry. She worked as a medical technologist at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen for almost 40 years until her retirement in 2002. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, and entertaining family and friends.
Sheila will be deeply missed by her husband, John; 3 children, Michael Nealey of Salem, NH, Paul Nealey and his wife, Kelly Bliss of Chelmsford, and Kathy L'Ecuyer and her husband, Rick of Salem, NH; 6 grandchildren; her brother, Robert Moore and his wife, Darlene of Nashua, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
