Sonya Jean (Zelisko)'s Story
Sonya Jean (Zelisko) Rossignol, age 53 of Salem, N.H., died Wednesday, Nov. 1st at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, N.H.
Sonya was born in Haverhill, grew up in Salem, NH, where she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Salem High School in 1982 and Continental School of Hair Design in Hudson, N.H.
Sonya was the office manager for Colony Foods in Lawrence, where she worked for over 25 years. She was a member of the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge in Salem, N.H. Sonya was such a giving person and would constantly donate to the Salem Food Pantry, and the Salem Animal Rescue League. She just loved helping people and will be missed by many.
She was predeceased by her father. Peter Zelisko Jr. and her brother. Gary J. Zelisko.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Rossignol of Salem, N.H.; her mother, Natalie A. Daly of Largo-Seminole, Fla., several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Saturday, Nov. 4th, from 3 to 6 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 6 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, N.H. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.
