Suzanne M.'s Story
HAVERHILL, MA - Suzanne M. (Lessor) Morin, age 66, of Haverhill, died Monday, February 19, 2018, at the High Point House in Haverhill, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was in the loving presence of her family, who were always by her side. Suzanne was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Morin.
Born in Haverhill, April 1, 1951, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Irene (Smith) Lessor and was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Haverhill.
For many years she worked as a secretary at Verizon.
Suzanne was a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph Church, now All Saint's Church, devoting endless hours to all church activities. Her life was all about doing for others, starting with her family and reaching out to friends, the community and her church. She was an inspiration to everyone, especially her family.
Her life's legacy will always be remembered by her daughter, Melanie Morin of Haverhill; sons, Paul G. Morin of Hampton, N.H., and Ralph E. Morin of Haverhill; her only grandson, Lucas E. Shadd; her brother-in-law, Jerome Judge of Salem, Mass.; sister-in-law, Sandra Lessor of Ocala, Fla.; her nephews, Aaron Judge, Adrian Lessor and Joshua Lessor; her niece, Amy Judge DeLong, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful dear friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her only brother, George H. Lessor and her sister-in-law, Genevieve Judge.
Visiting hours at the Monument Square Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 334 Main Street, Haverhill, will be Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amesbury, will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Melanie Morin, 59 Beach Street, Haverhill, MA 01832.
