Timothy's Story

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - Timothy Alan Pybus,
devoted husband, father and grampy, died peacefully on Saturday, February 10, surrounded by his loving family.
Timothy was born January 24, 1951, in Lawrence, Mass., the son of Raymond F. and Margaret Eileen Pybus. He married Barbara Marian Pybus on June 17, 1976. in North Andover, Mass.
Timothy, a graduate of North Andover High School, received his bachelors of science in Civil Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He was a lifelong resident of North Andover, a place where he had a strong love for its children and people. He became President of the North Andover Booster Club from 1996 to 2004. He then served on the School Committee from 2004 to 2008. He was a former owner of Georgetown Sand & Gravel, Georgetown Construction, Dover Sand & Gravel and, more recently, Gloucester Transit Mix. In his spare time, Tim enjoyed camping, boating, taking walks on the beach or Weir Hill and playing 45's with family and longtime friends. He was a proud father to his three boys as well as his three grandsons.
Timothy is survived by his children, Timothy Jr., and daughter-in-law, Megan; and their three grandchildren of North Andover, Christopher, and daughter-in-law, Danielle, of Quincy, Mass., and Kyle, of North Andover, Mass.; his brothers, Jeffrey S. Pybus, of South Hampton, N.H., and Raymond F. Pybus Jr., of Woburn, Mass; his sisters, Kathe (Pybus) Dodd, of Glen Cove, N.Y., and Karen (Pybus) Maloney, of Southport, Conn. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Marian (Fountain) Pybus; his sister, Nancy (Pybus) Haskell; his brother, Robert Pybus; and his parents.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA 01845. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Church in North Andover. Buirial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for their tireless effort.

Tim would want nothing more than to give back to the children and community that he loved so dearly.
