Tina Angelica (Pitocchelli)'s Story
Mrs. Tina Angelica (Pitocchelli) DeFusco, a 50-year resident of Andover, formerly of Lawrence and beloved wife of the late Atty. Arthur J. DeFusco, passed away at her home on Sunday afternoon, August 27, 2017. She was 92 years old.
Born in Lawrence on December 24, 1924, she was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas C. and Antoinette (Coletta) Pitocchelli. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, attended the American Institute of Banking and was employed in her early years at the former Bay State Merchants National Bank. Mrs. DeFusco worked as a paralegal for her husband, Arthur. Ahead of her time she enjoyed yoga. She loved good food, going to Boston for dinner and the theater with her son, watching movies and reading. Above all, Tina was a very devoted wife and mother. She will be dearly missed.
Tina is survived by her loving children, Norma King and Atty. AJ DeFusco, II, both of Andover and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Francis John "Frank" Pitocchelli and Rita Moynihan and mother-in-law of the late Paul King.
Tina was lovingly cared for by Valerie Fuchu, Jenny Marte, Laura Diaz and Kesia Castillo who became part of the family.
Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Monday, September 4, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Her funeral service and interment will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tina's memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
