Tyrone A.'s Story
Tyrone A. Farrar, Jr., 37, known to family and friends as “TJ,” passed away October 21, 2017, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Prince Georges County, Md., he was the son of the late Tyrone A. Farrar, Sr. and Joan M. (Antonelli) Farrar of Haverhill. He was educated in Lawrence. He graduated from St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Class of 1995, and was a graduate of Greater Lawrence Tech, Class of 1999. He was employed at Market Basket for the past two years. Tyrone was a devoted father who lived for his children; he cherished spending time with them and enjoyed playing basketball, and camping with them. He was known in the family as a great cook and loved his sweets. Tyrone was a big fan of horror movies, the Star Wars movies, and Superman. He loved a friendly game of cards with his friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew loved him.
In addition to his loving mother, Tyrone is survived by his fiancé, Kerry Ann Durso of Haverhill; his children, Leigha E. Farrar, Tyrell A. Farrar, Dominic A. Farrar, and Kaleb T. Farrar; his siblings, Jacob Farrar of Haverhill, Kristle L. Farrar of Lawrence and Katrinia M. Farrar of Haverhill; a niece, Bella Farrar of Haverhill; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, November 2, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visiting hours at 12:30 p.m. in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will be private.
