Vicilia Correa Hernandez, 78, died peacefully, Tuesday, November 21, following a long illness.
Vicilia was born on April 14, 1939, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Maria (Rodriguez) and Eucebio Correa. Vicilia was a longtime resident of Lowell, Mass. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was especially fond of her grandchildren. She was a kind person who would often help out her neighbors, friends and family. Vicilia was an outstanding cook, she loved music, walking, traveling and playing the lottery.
Vicilia is survived by her two sons, Nelson Ocasio of Pelham, N.H., and Al Ocasio and his wife, Joan of Nashua, N.H.; her grandchildren, Andrew, Jordan, Mathew and Nina; her brother, Frank Correa; and her many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.
