William H. "Bill"'s Story
WINDHAM, NH- William H. "Bill" Jeeves (67) of Windham, NH, died December 31, 2017 in his wife's arms at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Bill, an only child, was born in Needham, to Harry Jeeves and Willa MacWilliams. He graduated from Needham High School, received his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and his MBA from So. NH University. He was a resident of Windham for the past five years, formerly of Salem, N.H.
Bill worked for Needham Public Works after school and then gave his time as a social worker for the Mountain House Home for the Mentally Challenged. Shortly after, he began a career of over 20 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he ran logistics for the Asia Pacific region. After finishing his time with Digital/Compaq/HP, he ended his career with an additional 10 years at Raytheon Corporation.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Christine. Also, his first wife, Darci; sons, Christian and his wife, Shalah, Kenneth and his wife, Brittany; stepchildren, Jodie Miles, Stephen Miles and partner, Nicole Chalifour Christensen. grandchildren, Taylor, April, Drake, Annalise, and Nicole's daughter, Madeleine.
Bill was known by his family and friends for his unrelenting kindness, generosity, positivity and joyfulness. He never complained. He never did anything without a smile. Bill's passion for life was always on display with his love for adventure as evidenced by his work overseas and travel. He was thrilled to live in Singapore and see countries all over the globe including Australia. He lived life to the fullest and embraced any person willing to have a chat. He also enjoyed serving the church.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Saturday, Jan. 6th from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute (Memo to Dr. Ghobrial and Dr. Garcia) at P.O. Box 849168, Boston MA 02884 or over the phone at (617) 632 6099 to fund research for Multiple Myeloma and Leukemia.
