Beverly A. (Mazzocchi)'s Story
Beverly A. (Mazzocchi) Rosen, 80, of Salem, N.H., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday at Elliot Hospital, Manchester, N.H.
Beverly was born in Arlington, Mass. She grew up and was educated in Belmont, Mass., and then resided in Salem, N.H., for over 40 years. She worked as an administrative assistant at Raytheon Corp. in Andover, Mass. She also volunteered for several years at the Salem Animal Rescue League and enjoyed being around cats and was in her element whenever she spent time there.
Beverly had many passions in life. First and foremost were her children, but her grandchildren were the lights of her life. She always loved music – it inspired her and comforted her. After taking an interest in yoga, she became a certified Kripalu yoga instructor and loved to teach family and friends this peaceful art. She would absorb herself in her cherished gardens, finding contentment among the many flowers in the yard. Because she enjoyed nature, she loved to go for long walks. Beverly truly shed so much love and affection on everyone she touched and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband as well as children, David and his wife, Donna Walker of Hudson, N.H., Daniel Walker of Litchfield, N.H., and his partner, Tammy Roussin, and Diana and her husband, Peter Tocci of Derry, N.H.; also her stepchildren, David and his wife, Linda Rosen of California, Douglas Rosen of California, Andrew and his wife, Sherry Rosen of Newburyport, Mass., Laura and her husband, Barry Charewicz of Derry, N.H., and Steven Rosen of Connecticut; her brother, Richard and his wife, Shirley Mazzocchi of Hudson, Mass.; as well as 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private for the family at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salem Animal Rescue League, 4 Sarl Drive, Salem, NH 03079.
