He was born in Lowell and was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Moriarty) Sheehan. Brian was a graduate of Lowell High School and the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He was a dedicated employee at Raytheon Corp in Andover for 35 years.

Brian lived a simple but greatly fulfilled and accomplished life. Brian’s world was comprised of family, friends, faith and charity. His best times were with the three main ladies of his life - his devoted wife, adoring daughter and darling granddaughter all which always kept him smiling and guessing. He also loved traveling and spending time with his family. Whether it be a stay at the beach, trip to Las Vegas, traveling overseas or just at home … it didn’t matter, if it was with family, it was a great time. Brian had a great sense of humor and special gift of writing and always knew the right thing to say. A testament to Brian’s giving nature was the Sacred Heart Endowed Scholarship Fund that he and his lifelong friends, the “Churchyard Boys” established.
