Conor F.'s Story
Conor F. Begley, 33, died Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus from complications of Type I Diabetes, surrounded by his loving family.
Conor lived life his way, by his rules. It was "Conor's way." He spent his career as a burger maestro at Bob's Burgers; he loved to cook.
He enjoyed fishing, watching the Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics. He also enjoyed rock music and video games. Conor was quiet, funny, strong, and loved by so many.
He is survived and will be deeply missed by his parents, Christos G. and Debra (Sawtelle) Brustas of Dracut; three siblings, Michael Begley of Dracut, Greta Condee of Rye, N.H., and Christian Battle his wife, Brooke and their three sons, all from Lawrence; aunts and uncles,, Kevin Begley of Seabrook, N.H., Eileen Pekarski of Lawrence, Sheila Bernaby of Danville, N.H., Kathleen and David DeFillippo of Lawrence, Linda and Jurgen Kossin of Jensen Beach, Fla., Nancy and Lewis Brustas of Dracut, Nouna and Russell DeCarteret of Dracut, and Cheryl and Daniel Aguilar of Stuart, Fla.; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Conor was predeceased by his loving, biological father, Michael Begley; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Helen Begley; his Yia Yia, Ann Brustas; and his grandma, Joan Sawtelle.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, July 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. His funeral service will be held inside the funeral home on Wednesday, July 19, at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
