David J.'s Story
David J. Minicucci, 66, of North Andover, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Hope Minicucci, the ‘love of his life’, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage.
Born in Lawrence, son of the late Louis P. and Rita (Caruso) Minicucci, he lived in North Andover for most of his life. He was a realtor for more than 35 years; was a past president of The Greater Lawrence Board of Realtors; a past Exchange Club member, current Chairman of the Board of Assessors in North Andover, and a member and the Clerk of the Board of Directors of The Methuen Cooperative Bank.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Paula Swan of Amelia Island, Fla., Lisa Vayanos and fiancé, Kevin Byron of North Andover; a son, Michael Mammola, Sr. of Amesbury; seven grandchildren, Michael Mammola, Jr., David Swan and his wife, Kati, James Vayanos, Hope Swan, Jenna Mammola, Matthew Vayanos, Vincent Mammola; two great-grandchildren, Covian Swan, Caroline Swan; sister-in-law, Judy Minicucci; niece, Christina and husband Eric Loth; nephew, Louis Minicucci III; and two great-nephews; and a great-niece.
He enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing, and boating, but most of all spending time with his friends and family whom he cherished dearly. David never hesitated to help anyone he knew in any way. He will be sorely missed by many.
