Deanna S. (Thibodeau)'s Story

Deanna S. (Thibodeau) Giles, 72, formerly of Lawrence, passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Thursday, September 21, 2017, with her family at her side.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kerepka) Thibodeau, Deanna was born in Lawrence on February 13, 1945. She was educated in Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. For many years, she was employed as an assembler at Digital in Salem, N.H., from where she retired. Deanna resided in Lawrence for many years until moving to Loudon, N.H., where she resided for over 20 years. She returned to this area recently. Deanna enjoyed crocheting, was an avid gardener, going to Foxwoods, and especially attending family cookouts.
The wife of the late Robert Giles, Deanna is survived by a daughter, Doreen M. Gillen and her husband, Scott of Salem, N.H.; a son, Frank L. Curcio, Jr. of North Andover, Mass.; several grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Murad and her husband, Robert and Frances S. Preston and her husband, Francis, all of Atkinson, N.H.; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Doris Giles of Methuen.
Deanna was the sister of the late Joseph "Al" Thibodeau and his late wife, Shirley Thibodeau.
Deanna's family would sincerely like to thank the nurses and staff of Holy Family Hospital in Methuen for the wonderful care given to Deanna during her stay at the hospital.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 12 p.m. at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
