Dorothy A.'s Story
Dorothy A. (Consiglio) Bilodeau, 73, of Salem, N.H. died Sunday, June 25th surrounded by her family at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
Dorothy was born and educated in Methuen, the daughter of the late Amelia (Mele) and Pasquale Consiglio.
She was a homemaker for many years prior to her retirement from the Meals on Wheels kitchen where she enjoyed being able to help and serve others. She enjoyed crafts, bingo and cooking. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Donald Bilodeau, Sr.
Dorothy is survived by four children, Donald A. Bilodeau, Jr. and spouse, Nancy of Salem, N.H., Cheryl Bilodeau and spouse, Sharon of Salem, N.H., Dorothy Pickford of Cedar Park, Texas and Stacy Gonyea and spouse, Frank of Salem, N.H.; her sister, Patricia Blanchette of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.;
four grandchildren, Emily Bilodeau and Drake, Jackson and Chloe Gonyea and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 28th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 29th at 11 a.m. at St. Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence St. Methuen. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, N.H.
