Elspeth S. Donnelly, 29, died unexpectedly due to a heroin overdose on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Rumford Hospital, Rumford, Maine. She resided in Weld, Maine, and was formerly of Haverhill.
Born in Waltham, Mass., on February 21, 1988, she was a daughter of James and Melinda (Tirrell) Donnelly. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School.
Elspeth was a communicant of Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. She loved horseback riding and was devoted to her son, Caeden.
Survivors include her son, Caeden Klanfer; her mother, Melinda Donnelly; three brothers, Philip, Samuel, and Luke; five sisters, Jacqueline, Abigail and fiancé, Paul Mueller, Emma, Charlotte, and Isobel; maternal grandparents, Philip and Elizabeth Tirrell, and many aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her father, James Donnelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main St., Bradford, on Thursday, October 5, at 11 a.m. A reception will be held in the church hall immediately following the ceremony.
