Glenn D.'s Story
Glenn D. Wante, 64, of Derry, N.H., died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 23 after a long brave battle, surrounded by his loving family.
Glenn was born and grew up in Methuen, son of the late Roland and Florence (LeBlanc) Wante. He graduated from Tenney High School in Methuen and was a resident of Derry, N.H. for the past 37 years.
Glenn worked as a truck driver and warehouse manager for Pacific Packaging Products in Wilmington, Mass. for over 15 years. Glenn loved horse racing at Rockingham Park and trips to Foxwoods. He also enjoyed planning and taking vacations, and shopping for just about anything on Amazon. He was an avid New England sports fan and never missed a game, but most of all, Glenn loved being with his family and made sure that all of his hobbies involved them.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Rosalind A. (Papotto) Wante of Derry, N.H.; his children, Nicole Wante of Londonderry, N.H., Christopher Wante of Wethersfield, Conn., and Steven Wante of Derry, N.H.; his grandsons, William and Samuel; his brothers and sisters, Ronald Wante of Florida, Mark Wante of Methuen, Karen Davey of Hampton, N.H., and Susan Wante of Salem, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, May 30 from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Range Rd., Windham, N.H.
