Guy T.'s Story
Guy T. Pavone Sr., 70, of Methuen, Mass., passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital last week with his family at his bedside.
He was born in Lawrence, Mass., on September 14, 1946, to the late Fred A. and Alice (Sharp) Pavone. He was a cement finisher and worked in construction his entire life. Guy was quite a character, and he lived his life the way that he wanted to, never changing or making any excuses for who he was. He also enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards, fishing and taking cruises to Alaska.
Guy was the eldest of three children, he leaves behind a brother, Fred Pavone of Lawrence, Mass., and was predeceased by his sister, Donna L. Consoli of Methuen. Guy is survived by his wife, Elvira H. (LaTorre) Pavone; his children, Gina M. Pavone and her husband, Joe Guzman of Humble, Texas, Guy T. Pavone, Jr.; and his longtime girlfriend, Kim Driscoll of Kingston, N.H.; and Alicia L. (Pavone) Cruz and her husband, Hiram D. Cruz of Methuen, Mass. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Joe, Jeremy, Ava and Brian; along with several nieces and nephews.
