Jean Troisi, a longtime resident of Salem, N.H., died May 1. She was 92 years old.
Born in Chelsea, Mass., and raised in Revere, she was the oldest daughter of Michele Raimo and Maria Giuseppa Purcaro Raimo. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred J. Troisi, and two of her sisters, Rose Troisi, wife of Vincent Troisi, and Louise Troisi, wife of George Troisi.
Mrs. Troisi is survived by her sisters, Antonetta Riley of Saugus, Mass., Anne Curtin of Revere, Mass.; and brother, Michael Raimo of Salem; her three daughters, Jeannie Smith and husband, Michael Smith, Loretta Leone and husband, Nicholas Leone, also of Salem, and Donna Troisi of Washington, D.C.; her grandchildren, Erika and Jennifer Smith, Nicole Leone Boscketti, Kristin Leone Caredeo, and Emily and Max Troisi; her two great-granddaughters, Iris Mae and Emma; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 9 to 11 a.m., at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A Mass will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 40 Main St., Salem. Interment will take place at the Eternal Light Mausoleum, 21 Pond St., Salem.
