Johanna “Joan” Sabatini, longtime resident of Salem, N.H., passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017, at the age of 90. Recently, the family had joyfully celebrated her milestone birthday with extended family and close friends.

Joan was adored by her three sons and wives, Ken (Carolyn) of Leawood, Ks., Donald (Cathryn), of San Jose, Calif., and Robert of Concord, N.H. Joan was so proud of her four grandchildren, Dr. Collin Sabatini (Kalamazoo, Mich.), Victoria Sabatini (Boston), Ryan Sabatini (San Diego), and Alec Sabatini (Leawood, Ks.). Although they were separated by many miles, the families created special memories with Joan and Al on many vacations together throughout the years in New England.
Joan’s contributions to the Salem community were many. She was the Salem Supervisor of the Checklist for many years in addition to her volunteer work. The family is grateful for the excellent care given to their mother and wish to give special appreciation to caregiver Debbie of Caring with the Heart.
