Joyce C. (Dezan)'s Story
Joyce C. (Dezan) Ventrillo, 71, of Methuen, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Monday evening, May 1, 2017, at Lawrence General Hospital. She was born in London, England, the daughter of Burt and Dorothy Dezan.
Raised in Lawrence, Joyce graduated from Lawrence High School. Before retiring, she worked at the Andover Inn and the former William Barry Company in Lawrence. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, and Las Vegas.
Joyce loved her family and keeping company with each of them. Her heart held a special place for her granddaughters and great-grandson. Joyce was a true animal lover and family often noted her deep-rooted connection to them.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Patrick Ventrillo; daughters, Patricia Gillett of Methuen and Christine Fredrickson (husband, Karl) of Fremont, N.H.; brothers, Fred Dezan (wife, Janine) of Methuen and Jay Dezan (wife, Beth) of Dracut; sister, Diane Baglieri (husband, Jim) of Lawrence; grandchildren, Desiree Melo, Karin Fredrickson, Laura Fredrickson; and great-grandson, Vinncyn Gonzalez; along with many nieces and nephews.
