Judith (Cyr)'s Story

Judith (Cyr) Morrison, 81, of Salem, N.H., died Sept. 9, 2017, at the Lawrence General Hospital. Judith was born on October 13, 1935, in Lawrence, Mass., to the late John J. and Anna (McAloon) Cyr. She was a member of the Foundation Board of Northern Essex Community College and the Women of Northern Essex Community College. Judy worked as a R.N. at the former Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen and later as the vice president of Walls N All, Inc. She loved to play the piano and often times played at local events throughout the Merrimack Valley. She also loved to read, travel, write, paint, and trips to Seabrook Beach. Her most precious pastime was the time she spent with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Judith was predeceased by her best friend and soul mate, Sherman Morrison and is survived by her children, Anna Enos and husband, Francis of Hampstead, N.H., Mark Morrison and wife, Catherine of LaSalle Ontario, Debra Morrison, MD of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Nancy Morrison and husband, Peter Conley of Quispamsis, Ontario, and Robin Claus and husband, James of New Market, Ontario. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Michaela, Ethan, Jennifer, Alex and Ashley; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Shirley Morrison of Chestnut Hill. Judy was predeceased by her siblings, John J. Cyr Jr., William A. "Buddy" Cyr and Sr. Justine Cyr.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, MA 01845. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church, North Andover. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover.
