Lori A.'s Story
Lori A. Stevens, 60, passed away peacefully July 4, 2017, at home after a courageous 18-year battle with breast cancer. She resided in Methuen until moving to Newmarket in 2004.
Born December 31, 1956, in Methuen, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rita (Carpenito) Branca.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Newmarket, N.H.
Lori was predeceased by her brother, Steven Branca, and dog, Cashmere, whom she loved and adored.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, John Stevens of Newmarket; her brother, Christopher Branca of Methuen, Mass.; mother-in-law, Jeannette Stevens of Binghamton, N.Y.; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lori worked as an Administrative Assistant for most of her life and later as a Home Health Aide.
Lori will be remembered for her faith, love of life, her compassion and comfort to others.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Oncology Dept at Exeter Hospital for their outstanding care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church, Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
