Mary D. (Rizzotti)'s Story
Mary D. (Rizzotti) Laudani passed peacefully to eternal rest with the Lord on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the second of 10 children born to Anthony and Anne (Forte) Rizzotti.
Raised and educated in Haverhill, Mary lived in Methuen for the greater part of her life, and was a resident of North Andover for the last 12 years. She was employed by Western Electric for 25 years, retired in 1994, and was a member of Pioneers of Merrimack Valley.
She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore J. Laudani; son-in-law, David Howard; and five siblings.
Mary is survived by her children, Katherine “Kay” Turrisi and her husband, Joseph Jr. of Florida, Ann Marie Howard of Florida, Linda M. Cottone and her husband, Vincent P. of Florida, and Thomas Laudani and Ann Driscoll of Florida; brothers, Lawrence Rizzotti and his wife, Darlene of Haverhill, Al Rizzotti and Susan of Haverhill; sisters, Gloria Rizzotti of Haverhill and Theresa Busta and her husband, John of Methuen. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, May 5, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence.
