Nitza Guadalupe, 64, wife of the late Hector Guadalupe, passed away July 3, 2017 at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Julio and Ramona (Concepcion) Moran. Raised in Puerto Rico until the age of 10, she then traveled with her family to the United States, settling in New Jersey. Nitza lived in New York and Florida before moving to Massachusetts in the 1970’s. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. She enjoyed ceramics and painting figurines. Nitza also enjoyed watching her Spanish soap operas, cooking and being with friends and family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her whole life and she will forever be a part of their lives. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nitza is survived by her loving children, Yvonne Zuniga of Haverhill, Hector Guadalupe and his fiancee, Stephanie Noyes of Haverhill; 11 grandchildren, Amanda Cunningham, Christian Guadalupe, Miguel Velez, Logan Guadalupe, Jaleea Velez, Gloria Nitza Zuniga, Valeria Zuniga, Julio Guadalupe, Autum Rosenburger, Joseph Rosenburger, Damien Rosenburger; five great grandchildren, Jaiden Guadalupe, Jeshua Guadalupe, Jaishlis Guadalupe, Maleki Velez, Kiani Sandoval; her siblings, Lucy Losada, Maria Arroyo, Elsa Cordero, Julio Moran, Jackie Moran, Nancy Moran, Janeet Moran; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Hector Guadalupe, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Julio Zuniga.
Family and friends and respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
