Norma Jeanne (Ouellette)'s Story
Norma Jeanne (Ouellette) D'Urso, 73, of Haverhill, Mass., passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, at Oxford Manor Nursing Home in Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill and was the daughter of the late Norman and Marie Jeanne (Legare) (Ouellette) Colby.
Raised in Haverhill, Norma Jeanne was a graduate of St. James High School, the Lynn School of Nursing, St. Anselm’s College, and the University of Lowell. She was a Master's degree nurse practitioner and also taught nursing at the college level.
Norma Jeanne loved to draw, paint, and sing. Prior to residing in the nursing home, she was a member of an art club in Salem, N.H.; an active member of her church as layperson and in the choir; and an animal lover who volunteered at the MSPCA. She continued to sing for fellow patients at the nursing home.
Norma Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Jenifer D'Urso of Hooksett, N.H.; brother, William Ouellette and his wife, Catherine of Methuen; and her sister, Judith Nadreau and her husband, Robert of Plaistow, N.H. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.
