Paula M.'s Story
Paula Chase, 74, of North Andover, Mass., passed away peacefully on September 10, 2017. Paula was born on May 8, 1943, in Newburyport, Mass. She spent her childhood in Newburyport and Kittery, Maine. Following her graduation from the University of Maine, Paula was a teacher. She then pursued a career in real estate.
Paula loved her family and enjoyed life generally. She was very generous to those in need and very kind to animals. She enjoyed painting, travel, and spending time with her friends, children, grandchildren, and other family members.
Paula was predeceased by her mother and father, Stasia and James Reddy; and her sister, Cheryl Carey. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Chase of North Andover; her son, John and his daughter, Persephone, of North Andover; her daughter, Emily Coleman, her husband, Jeremy Coleman and their children, Juliet and Jackson of Amherst, Mass.; and a number of nieces and nephews in Maine, New Hampshire, and Ohio.
