Peter A. Dandurant, 44, of Rochester, N.H., passed away peacefully May 1, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Haverhill, Mass., he was the son of Fannie (Frascone) Dandurant and the late Dennis Dandurant.
A graduate of Whittier Technical High School, Pete attended Northern Essex Community College. Pete worked as a machinist for 26 years, primarily at Micro Mech, Inc. in Ipswich, Mass., where he developed many enduring friendships, as well as Wilcox in Newington and PDF in Haverhill.
Pete enjoyed fishing, reading, four wheeling, trips to the lake, and building engines for old Ford Broncos. He loved watching the Patriots, spoiling his beloved pugs, and spending time and creating memories with family and friends.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the love of his life, wife, Rena (DiLando); his mother, Fannie; brother, Dennis “Rocky” Dandurant and his wife, Tammy; niece and nephew, Tanya Comeau and Derek Dandurant; the couple’s children, Rachel Logan of Massachusetts and Nicholas and Kaitlin Foster of New Hampshire; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends with whom he was close.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Atlantic Grill, 5 Pioneer Road, Rye, New Hampshire. Relatives, friends, coworkers, and others close to the family are welcome to attend.
Memorial donations may be made to the Pug Rescue of New England (PRoNE) or the NHSPCA.
