Philip A.'s Story
Philip A. Rossi, 71, of Plaistow, died August 1, 2017, surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born and educated in Lawrence, and resided in Plaistow, N.H.
Philip served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967, and was a gunners-mate aboard the USS RICHARD E. KRAUS during the Vietnam War. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal for his service. He worked at Honeywell/Bull Corporation for over 40 years.
He was an avid fisherman, loved to go to the race track, and drive around in his jeep with his wife, Eleanor. His greatest love was his family.
Philip is survived by the love of his life, his wife of over 50 years, Eleanor (Page) Rossi; daughters, Pamela Shea and her husband, Joe and Colleen Mullins and her husband, Keith, all of Plaistow, N.H.; son, Stephen Rossi and his wife, Laura of Newton, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Justin Rossi and his wife, Idelsa, Amanda Signore and her husband, Dave, Shayne, Nicholas, Olivia, Philip, Jordan, and Ben; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Victoria; aunt and uncle, Eugene and Chieko Campaiola; brother-in law, Frank Annaldo; sister-in-law, Elaine Franklin and Greg; brother-in-law, Edward Page and Sharon; and cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Philip was predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Mary Rossi; and his sister, Rita Annaldo.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, August 3, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.
