Richard Ginchereau, 69, passed away peacefully on October 4 after a long battle with ALS. He was born in Lawrence, Mass., and was a graduate of both Central Catholic High School and Merrimack College. Later he served honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He and his family relocated to Orlando, Fla., in 1984. Richard retired from Lockheed Martin after 20-plus years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 28 years, Ruth Valcourt Ginchereau. He is survived by his sons, Scott and wife, Kimberlee, Mark and wife, Shannon, and Brian. He is also survived by his wife, June; brothers, Robert and Paul; sister, Elaine; and four grandchildren.
Services are being held in central Florida. Family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ALS Associations at www.alsa.org.
