Roger Levesque, 93, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Salemhaven Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family.
Roger was born in Peabody, Mass. and was the son of the late David L. and Elise (Cote) Levesque. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Mass Electric in Malden for 35 years as a clerk.
Roger was a member of the Lawrence United Lodge, where he served as Presiding Master for 2007 and 2008; the John Hancock Lodge in Methuen, and was Past Master of the Jordan Lodge FAM in Peabody for the year of 1980.
Roger is survived by his wife of 13 years, Dolores Federici (Grasso) Levesque of Methuen; his daughter, Valerie Ann Marshall and her husband, Bradford of Peabody, Corrine Levesque of Framingham, and Sharlene Williams of Buffalo, Va.; his four stepchildren; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Roger also leaves his brother and sister. Roger was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor (Cerro) Levesque and second wife, Agata (Fichera) Levesque.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Sunday, June 25th from 3 to 6 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His funeral service will take place on Monday, June 25th at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
