Theresa P.'s Story
Theresa P. (Crimmins) Fritzler, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Theresa (Terry), was born in Lawrence on August 8, 1924.
She attended Saint Patrick's Grammar and High School. Following her graduation from Burdett Secretarial School in Boston, Terry began a lengthy secretarial career at various companies including the Tyer Rubber Co. and the Internal Revenue Service, in addition to working part-time at the MSPCC and the Lawrence General Hospital.
Terry married Frederic J. Fritzler in 1958, and raised her family in the home where she grew up. She enjoyed swimming, reading, and spending time at the beach. Following their retirement, they moved to Sutton Pond Condominiums in North Andover. She spent the past couple of years in Florida.
Terry is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Hall of North Berwick, Maine, Linda Riordan and her husband, Jack of Kingston, Mass., and Theresa Fritzler of Lighthouse Point, Fla. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Tiffany (Hall) Oliveira and her husband, Phil, Matthew, Jennifer, and Julia Riordan; a great-grandson, Trevor Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederic J. Fritzler; her mother, Josephine Crimmins; her son-in-law, Ralph Hall; and her grandson, Derek Hall.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Parish in North Andover on Wednesday, June 28, at 11:30 a.m. A private family burial service will take place after the Mass. There will be no calling hours.
