Timothy M.'s Story
Timothy Carroll, 57, of North Andover, died Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Tim was born in Ayer, Mass. on December 29, 1959.
He was a graduate of Westford Academy. He continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, St. Leo University, and North Central University; ultimately receiving his PhD in information security.
He was employed as a database architect.
Tim was a U.S. veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.
Tim is survived by his wife, Mary (Fountain) Carroll; his daughter, Jacqueline Carroll; and his son, Timothy Carroll, Jr., all of North Andover. He is also survived by his mother, Frances (Buracker) Carroll of Westford; his brothers, Leslie Carroll of Westford and Kevin Carroll of Lincoln, R.I.; and his sisters, Jean Britian of Virginia, Patricia Mortimer of Leominster, Karen Shack of Lowell and Brenda Eliason of Winchendon, Mass. Also among his survivors are his mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Ronald Fountain of North Andover; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. Tim was predeceased by his father, Leslie Carroll, Sr.
A Memorial Mass was offered on Tuesday, June 20, at St. Micheal's Church in North Andover.
