The Villages - Bradford "Mike" Canney, 84, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on December 20, 1941, Mike was the son of Bradford and Cecile (Charron) Canney. For over four decades, he proudly worked at Raytheon, where his dedication, reliability, and commitment left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.

Mike loved golfing, camping, and spending time on the lake with family and friends. After retirement, he and his beloved wife, Patricia (Bramley) Canney, enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, creating countless memories together along the way. Whether relaxing by the water, gathered around a campsite, or enjoying a day on the golf course, Mike treasured every moment spent with the people he loved most.

He is survived by his children, Joseph and his wife Lori, Jeffrey and his wife Betty Ann, Michelle and her husband Joseph, and Melissa and her husband Daniel. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Garrett, Mikaela, Joey, Nicholas, Ashley, Brye, Jade, Allie, Amanda, Taryn, Grace, and James, along with five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date in New Hampshire. Family and friends are invited to share memories and celebrate the life he lived. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
