East Hampstead - Candy Jean Porro, 69, of East Hampstead, NH, and formerly of Haverhill, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at High Pointe Hospice, Haverhill.

She was born in Haverhill on September 21, 1956, daughter of Mary (Bixby) Strangman and the Late Robert Strangman.

Candy was educated in the Haverhill School System and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1974. She went on to take courses at Northern Essex Community College. She worked as an Assembler at various locations including Semi-Conductor Circuits, Lucent Technologies and Raytheon.

She enjoyed gardening, watching the birds gather at her feeders, baking, cross-stitching, and knitting. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Candy is survived by her loving husband, Mark E. Porro; her beloved daughter, Corinne Letourneau and her husband, Paul, of Methuen; her siblings, Bruce Strangman and his partner Martina, of Andover, and Bonnie Pride and her husband, Alan, of Millis, MA. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Joseph, and Christopher Evans; her nephews, David Morelli and his wife, Alyssa, and Mark Jendro; as well as her great-nephews, Asher and Jacob.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Haley Evans, her nephew, Corey Morelli, and her beloved dog, Riley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Monday, March 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Bradford~Haverhill.
