Andover - Carole A (Pavenski) Lentz, 80, of Andover and formerly of Peabody, died Tuesday July 2, 2024, at the Seasons of Danvers following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late George H. Lentz, Sr., with whom she shared over 57 years of marriage.

Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Stephanie (Iwan) Pavenski. She was raised and educated in Peabody.

After her children were grown, Carole worked in the Andover Public system as a teachers Aid for 10 years before retiring years ago.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Aruba, and going to other exotic places, but her most precious time was spent with her family, going to her daughter's basketball games at Merrimack College and watching her grandchildren grow to maturity.

She is survived by her daughter Tricia Lentz of Nahant and her son George H. Lentz Jr. of East Northport, L.I. New York, her two grandchildren, Jack Lentz and Mackenzie Lentz of New York, and is also survived by her dear brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Janice (Lentz) Bergeron and by many nieces and nephews.
