Charlotte L. Parker Obituary
Groveland - Charlotte L. (Bertram) Parker, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in Westford, MA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence on July 22, 1947, and was a resident of Clearwater, FL and a longtime resident of Groveland.
Charlotte Parker lived a life marked by warmth, faith and unwavering commitment to her family and friends. Believing that she lived a blessed life, she was generous in sharing those blessings with the people she cherished. Together with her beloved husband of 46 years, Fred R. Parker, she built a loving home and cultivated an ever-expanding circle of devoted friends and extended family.
She was educated in the Haverhill schools and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1964. After her children reached school age, Charlotte pursued a career in nursing, beginning in the maternity ward of Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport. She later continued as a staff nurse in the offices of Women's Health Care in Newburyport and West Newbury. She took great pride and real joy in helping bring children into this world, and was always happiest when cradling an infant child.
Charlotte was a long-standing member of St. James Episcopal Church in Groveland, and her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her church is where she found fellowship, purpose and opportunities to serve others through church projects, fundraisers, and gatherings, which she and her husband would often host.
In her later years, Charlotte enjoyed travelling the world to experience new countries and cultures, usually with one or more of her closest childhood friends.
Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Fred in 2012, and is survived by her four children, Kimberley Parker and her husband, Michael LeClair of Watertown, F. Robert Parker and his wife, Lindsey, of Concord, Kristin Gillett and her husband, Darwin, of Westford, and Jason Parker and his wife, Jana, of Redding, CA. She was the proud grandmother to Ethan and Jared LeClair, Avery and Parker Gillett, and to Alden, John, Campbell, Lila and Catherine Parker. Additionally, she was the "favorite" aunt of a great many nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate and remember Charlotte at her Memorial Service on Saturday, August 22nd at 11am at St. James Episcopal Church, 119 Washington St., Groveland, MA, 01834.
