Haverhill - Delia M. (Allen) Fredette, 90, longtime resident of Haverhill and the Merrimack Valley passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019, at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lawrence on April 9, 1929, to the late Joseph and Alma (Buote) Allen she attended Sacred Heart High School. A devout lifelong Catholic, Delia was a communicant for St. Lucy's Parish in Methuen. She loved the many simple pleasures in life, she enjoyed playing bingo, trips to Foxwoods, and was the devoted matriarch of her large family.

Delia is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Chanel E. Fredette, also of Haverhill and their nine children, her son Robert Fredette and his wife Maura of Methuen; her daughter Susan Blaikie and her husband John of Derry; her daughter Linda Fredette of Haverhill; her son Raymond Fredette and his wife Kandie of Lawrence; her daughter Diane Adams and her husband Raymond of Salem; her son Michael Fredette of Lawrence; her son Paul Fredette of Lowell; her son James Fredette of Haverhill; and her daughter Karen Thibault and her husband Michael of Methuen. She was the cherished grandmother to her 19 grandchildren; and great-grandmother to her 22 great-grandchildren. Delia is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 5, 2019, 11 a.m., at Saint Lucy's Church, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. To honor Delia's wishes please meet directly at the church. Interment followed at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence.
